GUASFCU was founded to provide affordable, accessible and convenient banking services to Hoyas. Nearly 35 years later, over 60% of Hoya students choose GUASFCU.

The mission of the Georgetown University Alumni and Student Federal Credit Union is to grant credit for provident and productive purposes, to provide affordable financial services to its members, and to educate its members and volunteers about the credit union movement through practical business experience

GUASFCU hires 15-20 interns in the fall and spring of each academic year. Freshman and sophomores are eligible to apply in the fall while only freshmen may apply in the spring.

As a Georgetown institution and tradition, the Georgetown University Alumni and Student Federal Credit Union is committed to investing in our members, university, and Hoya community. We are proud to offer again our annual Build Your Future scholarship grant to support Georgetown students pursuing a summer nonprofit or service related internship or service project that does not cover their associated costs. As dedicated unpaid interns ourselves, we understand the value and experience that such an internship can offer, and we are determined to support fellow Hoyas in pursuing these opportunities for themselves, undeterred by financial obstacles.
