GUASFCU is proud to support the George R. Houston Memorial Fund as a tribute to Professor Houston who provided the initial financial contribution to GUASFCU. This fund sponsors Common $ense, our financial literacy series.
GUASFCU interns are frequent volunteers with Dog Tag Bakery, an organization committed to providing military veterans with the necessary experience and education to succeed post-duty as civilians.

GUASFCU supports Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, a volunteer-run animal rescue that saves homeless and abandoned dogs and cats from certain euthanasia.
GUASFCU supports Relay for Life and its mission to fight cancer. Over 50 interns participated in this year’s event which was a great success!
GUASFCU is a proud sponsor of Run4Rigby, an organization started by Georgetown students to help improve fire safety around the country.
As a Georgetown institution and tradition, the Georgetown University Alumni and Student Federal Credit Union is committed to investing in our members, university, and Hoya community. We are proud to offer again our annual Build Your Future scholarship grant to support Georgetown students pursuing a summer nonprofit or service related internship or service project that does not cover their associated costs. As dedicated unpaid interns ourselves, we understand the value and experience that such an internship can offer, and we are determined to support fellow Hoyas in pursuing these opportunities for themselves, undeterred by financial obstacles.
